A friend contacted me the other day and told me after 2 years of fighting it, she gave up her resistance to contact lenses. She said while her eyes dry up pretty quickly and sometimes they’re hard to put in, she loves the end result.

She ended her short and sweet note to me with this, “No matter what the weather, it’s amazing how much you can see when you can actually SEE! What a beautiful day it is. Take time to look around and enjoy the beauty.”

To be honest, when I received her message on Friday, my inbox had over 120 unread messages in it (I’m sure you can relate). I was in work mode, and needed to take a breather to look around and enjoy the beauty. Her message came just at the right time for me! But, it’s funny, sight goes far beyond just physically seeing, it’s ‘how’ we view life that matters most.
